beside her are her four fairy friends. All of them have come to Morgol to aid her in acquiring the throne so that their drowned city can come out of hiding. To do this, they must appear as humans, forget their magical abilities and ensure that their pair stays safe from murder.

Character Profiles
Lowan O'Dallyn
Lowan is our female main character. She is smart, cunning and feisty but also completely indecisive and at times, a little naive. We follow her throughout the novel and go beside her as she struggles to choose a pair to take the throne of Llaninwyn beside.
Arianwen Vexon
Arianwen is both stubborn and deadly. She was top of her class during her Morgol training and she's our FMC's best friend, together with Seren. Going to Morgol is the last thing she relishes, espeshally as it puts her in such close proximity to her ex, Lance Spencer. Her pair for Morgol is Tavor Knight, an old friend.
Seren Tinley
Seren is the resident daisy. She is sweet and kind with a full heart ready to love anyone, but she also commits a few murders here and there. Her pair for Morgol is her long term boyfriend Fenegan Knight.
Renan Farrason
Son of the rulers of Llaninwyn, he's practically a price. He comes to Morgol with more Reen than he knows what to do with. He has a reptation for being the reserved, academic and political son of the Hierarchy but he's still admired greatly. He could pair anyone, if he wasn't so picky.
Tavor Knight
One half of the Knight twins, Tavor is the darker of the two. Usually found playing with daggers or cracking a joke, he is fun as well as handsome. He never planned to go to Morgol, but now he's here, he takes his job of protecting Arianwen extremely seriously.
Fenegan Knight
The other half of the Knight twins. He's definitely the softer of the two, a true lover boy for his pair Seren. After deciding to go with her to Morgol, he is really there to make it through and go home again. Poor boy doesn't know what is about to hit him.
Dacre Vexon
Cousin to our Arianwen, Dacre really would like to be left alone, but then, that is a side effect of being disliked by everyone. He's in his second year at the academy. As a spy for Therosin he has his own list of assignments in Morgol, most of which he'd rather not be doing. His pair is his fellow fairy and friend, Letty Brix.
Taxlin D. Moss
Arogance is a real problem for Taxlin and not one his pair is up for dealing with. This lovely, yet fairly stupid man has some growth ahead of him as he enters Morgol with a Reen he worked his whole life to acquire.
